Strategic Initiatives Department

The Strategic Initiatives Unit under Head of Public Service has been spearheading youth program that focuses on Peace Building, Youth Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentorship (PYLIEMgv) since 2019. The program is anchored on the Big4 Agenda, peace, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs). These pillars are anchored on the Out-of-School Youth Science, Technology and Innovation (OSYSTEI) Program that seeks to catalyse pro-youth actions to address the dreams, ambitions and hopes of the out of school youth in the country by creating a culture of curiosity, creativity, innovation and productive entrepreneurship.
